Choose the correct voltage conversion direction
A step-down converter supplies a lower output voltage, while a step-up converter supplies a higher one. These products are not interchangeable. Read the device's input label and compare it with the converter's stated input and output before connecting.
Check each AC outlet separately: some travel models have outlets with different voltage functions and power limits. The highest wattage on the housing is not necessarily the rating of every outlet. USB charging is a separate feature, and the plug kit must also fit the destination's socket.
