BESTEK 500W Pure Sine Wave Inverter with USB-C PD 30W

This power inverter is pretty easy and has great value for the money. We needed this power converter for our trips where we would be able to charge our laptops, drones, and electric fans. It has good stability. The cord is pretty long. I love how portable this power inverter is, so it inverts DC 12 V to AC 110 V. It is suitable to power so many different devices. It delivers 500 W continuous power, featuring a high-speed 30 W PD USB-C port and 4.2A USB-A port. The device features two DC outlets to power any 110 V devices. The device has overload protection, short circuit protection, over-voltage protection, low voltage protection, overheating protection, and reverse polarity protection. This is pretty impressive. I highly recommend this device.

At 200W max output, this power inverter from BESTEK is more than sufficient for our charging needs on-the-go. I'm able to charge my MacBook Pro, portable radio, and utilize the built-in USB-C ports at the same time with no performance issues or degradation. It works great! There's a fan that provides cooling and it's quiet too, especially when the power draw is low. The LED screen on the front is a sweet bonus. It fluctuates as the power draw changes and indicates that the inverter is turned on and working. Even with all the outlets and ports, it's small enough to fit in the center console of our Ford Edge when not in use. We love this thing.

This BESTEK 200W Car Power Inverter gives me plenty of charging options in the car. With for different usb plugs and two wall plugs we should be able to charge all our gadgets while camping. It charges phones quickly and I'm excited to see how it works in our camper. The inverter is fairly small and feels sturdy. It's a great little gadget, a good value for the money, and I highly recommend it!

Extremely compact and has a dedicated power switch. Currently, I am using this to power a 120v 75watt pelteir thermal plate refrigerator running off solar/battery in my off grid shed. (Hopefully I can keep some cold beer around for those days working in the yard). Although I actually bought this as a laptop charger for the car, I figured I would give it a work out. (also an excuse to have a cold one) Note the device pulls about 6.8 amps from the battery (when drawing 75watts) thus it seems fairly efficient. 12x6.8=80watt thus here is very little power loss.

I have other Bestek brand inverters and they have all worked well for me. When this one came up for review, it was a no-brainer.Keep in mind that is a modified sine wave inverter. Inductive loads (like fans) may have an odd hum. It will work, just not as well as it does when plugged into a wall outlet or with a pure sine wave inverter.Another thing to keep in mind is that the cord is very short. End to end, the cord on my unit is about 20 inches including the plug.I got this to run some LED lights off a 12v battery. For convenience, I tested it using a 12v power supply. I noticed that it injected a lot of noise back into the wall outlet and disrupted my power line networking connection. This shouldn’t impact most people, but audio enthusiasts and ham radio operators beware!It has been running my LED lights like a champ. Small inverters often cut corners by turning the internal fan on all the time. This one has the fan on, but it is running so slow it isn’t making any perceptible noise. The only reason I know it is on is because I just used a flashlight to verify the fan blades were moving.I wouldn’t use an inexpensive inverter for more than half its rated capacity continuously. If you are needing a tiny, inexpensive inverter for light loads (I’m pushing 30 watts through it now) then you won’t go wrong with this one.

It works as expected when charging my PowerBank.Before using this inverter, please read the manual. Make sure you see steady green on the light right beside the AC outlet before plugging in your AC power cord.The USB-C and USB-A charging output are adaptive. They can supply the power that your device can draw up to the max limit of this device. I used USB-C to charge my tablet and confirmed that it is adaptive because it charged my tablet with almost the same speed as the charger that comes with my tablet in fast charging mode.Overall, I am very satisfied. I used BESTEK products before. They are always good quality.

It allowed me to charge my laptop while it was plugged into the inverter’s 110V outlet. I also charged a tablet using the Type C port on the inverter, and alternately, the USB port.The unit is built well, with a durable aluminum case. I like that it has an ON/OFF switch. The unit also has multiple safety devices including a built-in fuse and the following protections: over-charge, under-voltage, over-load, over-temperature, short-circuit, and over-current. The unit has ETL certification which follows the same safety standards as Underwriter Laboratories (UL).Also, the small size of this inverter makes it easy to use and then store in a vehicle for quick access when needed. Great device to have on hand.

This is a great addition to any car tool kit, camping, or survival kit. It doesn't take up any room at roughly 4" x 2.5" it can easily fit in the center console for quick use when needed.The inverter arrived well-packed with an instruction leaflet and looks excellent quality. It has a standard US 110V outlet, a USB outlet, and a USB-C outlet for powering or charging any of your tools, devices, or appliances. Well, I say 'any' but it won't power a hair dryer! I just tested it. There is an on/off power switch, an LED light showing if it is working or not, and a cooling fan.The instruction leaflet is a hoot, it could do with a little proofreading and reprinting. Other than that, it is a 5-star.

I put this little guy through a series of tests and it came up aces. I hooked up a 100W bulb and it powered it without issue. I connected a Pixel and a Samsung phone and it supported 9V fast charging (5V is the base) on both devices. It did all this while it was connected to 2023 Tesla Model Y. Model Y uses a 14V battery that isn't supported by all devices.I bought this for use in our camper. We have USB outlets, but they are all the slower 5V variety. With this adapter we can charge our phones and laptops MUCH faster. We also use the 110V for the TV when we are off grid.

Vert compact and light, It works well for its intended purpose - I have it sitting on the back floorboard of my truck which has a 12v power point but no AC outlet. It powers a 2 battery power tool charger so I can have a pair of fully charged batteries when I get to work. The cooling fan does not stay on all the time which is a big plus! Only one AC outlet, but that is partly offset by the two USB ports (A & C). Slightly under advertised output at 101.7VAC, but nothing to worry about, really. The on/off switch cuts all power to it so it's safe to leave plugged in as long as you shut it off. I'll most likely get another one for my car which also has no AC outlets. Very happy with this inverter so far!

I got this car power inverter because I work in emergency/disaster services and I like to plan ahead, plus sometimes I end up having to work on my tablet or laptop in the car. I haven't tried it with my laptop yet but it works well with smaller devices, and according to the specs it should be able to charge my laptop and tablet as well. I particularly like how compact it is - the box is about 4"x5" - and that it has multiple ports including a USB port and a USB-C port. This power inverter is a great addition to a disaster kit!
