BESTEK 300W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter DC 12V to AC 110V

It works, what more can I or rather is there to really say... other than the batteries getting replace w a deep cycle not that it pertains to this review.

Update: 3/24/2023: Bestek stepped up and sent me a new unit. Just tried it in the car - it works and I'm back in business. Thanks Bestek!Purchased on 2/21/2021 - warranty is 24 months (18 base plus 6 months for product registration). I used it very infrequently to power my laptop in the car - the product has been safely stored in my trunk and still looks brand new. The last time I tried to use it (3/4/2023 - less than two weeks out of warranty), neither of the AC outlets worked. I tried multiple plugs and devices, and confirmed the fuses were good. Only the USB ports were functional - which can't power my laptop.I inquired to Bestek on 3/13/2023. Their reply on 3/14/2023 was, "we are sorry for the inconvenience. Somewhere in the circuit of the AC outlets must have failed, since we don't have the product to diagnose, we have no idea about the exact part that failed. Maybe you ask a repair shop to inspect the circuit."In my mind, this is not a satisfactory response to their product failure which is ~2 weeks out of a 2-year warranty. Likely it failed within the warranty period, but I was not aware since I hadn't used it for an extended period. Buyer beware.

You get what you pay for it. It's a 300 watt pure sine inverter, easy to hook up. Says shouldn't exceed a 150W load. AC output reads 112V, USB reads at 5V. I have gotten a little startup whine right when turning the unit on now and then but it usually goes away after a minute. I know my leads aren't too long and the wire size is appropriate 10 AWG for my 2 x 12V 7.5Ah batteries wired in parallel. Maybe capacitors charging? It didn't don't right out of the box and the voltage stays 12.5-12.6, so I don't know as of yet.

82% efficient with 55W incandescent bulb load, variable speed fan based on temps, clean quiet power, and 8.6W no load draw from battery, 0.65A @12.6V. Nice small inverter, handled a 350W mini griddle at 317W for minutes, fan got louder after a bit, but the grill would cook eggs for sure, it ran 5 minutes until the grill thermostat switched off, and kept it hot enough.

Finally took the plunge to purchase this power inverter and I am glad that I did it. For starters, I was hesitant to buy a lower priced inverter because I was unsure whether it is capable of powering up my vacuum sealer. Also, none of the Amazon reviews talked about whether this unit can handle a vacuum sealer. As soon as I got this in the mail, I went and tested it and it worked! The vacuum sealer functioned as if it was plugged in to a home outlet. One thing to mention though is that the 300-watt rating is divided between the two outlets so you get 150 watts each. The form factor is also amazing as this unit can fit in a small space inside a car.

This inverter works well for all my small appliances and with my standing fan perfectly compared to a previous 300w modified sine wave i had. There is no longer any humming sound from devices. However, either this unit i received doesn't work completely well, or it is unable to handle 700w peak as advertised.My previous 300w modified sine wave inverter works well with my tools such as drills without shutting off..With this inverter, the unit shuts off when trying to use my tools.

I bought this for my camper van, and I love it. I have a large 2000 W inverter that I haven't even bothered to install yet. This small 300W inverter powers my Xbox series S easily (75W), with enough power for me to plug in something else, such as my toothbrush, Black & Decker batteries, etc. I wanted a small one so that it wouldn't bleed as much power if I accidentally left it on. When nothing is plugged into it and it's turned on, it uses about 25 W an hour.

I love this inverter. I use it in my truck to charge my ryobi power tool batteries.

Purchased this inverter after reading reviews of the power usage under load. I can confirm that while powering a 13watt UV light the unit is using 15watts of power to do it! Outstanding little unit so far. Time will tell if it stands up to continuous outdoor (but environmentally protected) usage. Bestek offers two types of this model and I purchased the one with lug terminals for connecting my DC input. Recommended and would definitely buy again.

I can't speak for it's longevity, but my initial impression is that it seems very well made

This is the second one I have owned. As long as you remember that it is a high frequency inverter, it will last u many years. Very low idle power consumption when on.

The 300Watt version powers my 50Watt rms(peak 100Watts) subwoofer no problem at max volume. The fan doesn't even kick on. I would trust this inverter at the full 300Watts 24/7. I don't see it having any problems. Just make sure your car can handle it. You can check by searching you cars make and model with "12v cigarette lighter amps".

Works good. I did have a 200w and a 120w adapter plugged in at the same time no problem. I wired it through a 40 amp breaker to my car battery.

I used this to replace another inverter running the entertainment system in our motor home. The previous inverter would beep constantly unless the coach was connected to shore power possibly due to voltage drop.The Bestek has a much wider input voltage range which I think is the difference.It's ruggedly built and came with a lighter plug which is only good for loads under 150 watts, so I wired it directly to a 12 volt source instead using the terminals on the rear of the unit.The inverter doesn't drain any power when off, unlike some others.The cooling fan is very quiet, too.

For only 300W the form factor seems kinda large even for a PSW. Im using it to power my Starlink and laptop. Works well and is quiet - much less power draw than my 3000W system inverter. I also have a Bestek cig light distributor thats been good for about 3years now. Looking to get the 2000W inverter for a friends overland build. Im a fan.

I have a small 1000w All in one electrical system for my RV. This tiny 300w Pure Sine Wave Inverter is perfect to connect directly to my LIfePO4 batteries for small loads (chargers etc...). This allows me to shut off my 1000w system inverter to save my batteries!!!

I am running a pair of desktop computers with this and it works perfectly!

No issues and hasn’t let me down. I use this to run a Starlink unit while camping. Usually for several days at a time. Solid deal.

Nice inverter and I like Sine Wave's clean "juice". It will power a laptop or blow up your camping air mattress. Lot less embarrassing than blowing up the mattress using the plug in the campsite bathroom!

Use it to power my garage door opener when the power is out. Works great. Please bottle that it is a light non-insulated single door. Powering the opener draws about 260 watts. I don’t think this thing could work on a larger garage door.

The company helped us feel reassured that this order was compatible with our new battery which is a Lithium one. Good service.

The pure sine wave is important to me. I am an electronics geek and know how this is important for sensitive equipment. I work on the road from using my laptop, fold up travel screen, and Jet Pack Internet device. This unit keeps me powered with peace of mind. It's well worth the power/price value.

This is a small unit that's quite and had enough power that I can charge 4 pieces of equipment while I'm driving. It's awesome for the price.

Good value but have not had a chance to use long term yet.
